Brosnan, who has played Agent 007 in four James Bond films, was investigated yesterday after hitting a paparazzi last Friday, October 26.
According to TMZ, photographer Robert Rosen tried to take pictures of the star, who was with his oldest son, as they were coming out of a Mexican restaurant, Casa Escobar.
Steve Whitmore, spoksperson for the Los Angeles police department, confirmed that Brosnan was being investigated. "Brosnan is alleged to have committed a battery against a male adult. We’re investigating it, and we’ve taken a report which we’ll refer to the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office for review."
In the meantime, Pierce Brosnan will be playing Thomas Crown once again, a main character in The Topkapi Affair. Rene Russo will not be in this movie, but there are rumours that she will be replaced by Angelina Jolie.
