Vogue reports that Pierre Hardy is teaming up with Gap for a sixth consecutive season. He is launching a new collection of shoes for the ready-to-wear Gap Design Edition brand.

Pierre Hardy is a French shoe designer who usually creates high end couture shoes for designers like Christian Dior and Balenciaga.

He is bringing his talent to the Gap. Having revisited the ballerina shoe, sandals and the Spartan platform, Pierre Hardy has created a new line of shoes for Gap.

This 2010 Spring/Summer collection has four models including one flat sandal made of woven hemp rope. There are also three wedge sandals, one is tied with a floral print scarf, another is made out of denim and a third is made of beige leather.

Denim and floral prints are the spring trends this year. This collection of sandals for Gap by Pierre Hardy will be available at the end of April in Gap stores.
