Poison Drummer Arrested for Rape

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Rikki Rockett due to rape.

The drummer of the rock group Poison, Rikki Rockett, was arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, March 24 on charges of rape, reports the LA Daily News.

The warrant for the arrest of "Richard Ream," Rockett’s legal name, was placed by Neshoba County, Mississippi. Details concerning the warrant for arrest and accusations are unknown to the press.

Airport officials detained the 46-year-old as he passed through customs and brought him to the Los Angeles County prison.

The rocker was coming back from New Zealand where he participated in the heavy metal show Rock2Wellington.

Rikki Rockett started the band Poison during the 1980s with his high school buddy Bret Michaels.
