Popular men’s fragrance winner goes Green

Yves Rocher introduces Comme une Evidence Homme Green.

French cosmetics company Yves Rocher has launched a new fragrance for men, Comme une Evidence Homme Green designed by perfumer Ursula Wandel.

"I wanted to create a new freshness, both green and natural, by using the exceptional aromatic qualities of mint and sage," explains Wandel.

"I added lime, for its zesty quality that brings a sparkling energy to the fragrance. It was equally important to me to incorporate a rich and deep woody note to keep that connection with nature throughout the evolution of the fragrance. The patchouli was an obvious choice for me: it’s noble, powerful, elegant and it enhances all the other facets of the fragrance."

The woodsy perfume will be available in June, just in time for Father’s Day. The initial line will include a 75 mL eau de toilette, which retails for $55, and a 200 mL shower gel, available for $20.

The new scent is an expansion of Yves Rocher’s popular Comme une Evidence Homme collection, winner of the 2010 FiFi award, a recognition event sponsored by the international Fragrance Foundation. Considered one of the most prominent and prestigious awards in the perfume industry, the FiFis have taken place annually since 1973.
