Porter Airlines adds direct flights to Myrtle Beach

Seasonal special begins today and runs until May 23.

For the second consecutive year, Porter Airlines is offering seasonal direct flights to Myrtle Beach beginning today (February 17) through until May 23.

The airline will offer four weekly round trips – double what was offered last year – making non-stop flights between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Myrtle Beach International Airport on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Direct flights are offered only through the Toronto City Centre airport, where the carrier is based, but connecting flights are available for Thunder Bay, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Halifax. One-way fares start at $179, plus applicable fees and taxes.

"This is the ideal time for Canadians to take advantage of the warmer winter golf season and the peak of spring weather. The return of Porter Air truly benefits the area by bringing in much needed seasonal business with a direct flight from Toronto," said Michael La Pier, Director of Airports, in an interview with SCNow.
