Porter increases service to Thunder Bay
Commuter air carrier Porter Airlines has increased service between Toronto and Thunder Bay from three flights to five round-trips daily on weekdays.
In addition to more frequent service from Monday to Friday, Porter will also offer four round-trips on Sunday and two on Saturday.
The extra service will improve Toronto connections for other destinations, including Montreal, Ottawa, Sudbury, Myrtle Beach, Quebec, Sault Ste. Marie, Windsor, New York, Boston and Chicago.
Further scheduling improvements for Northern Ontario include increased service to Sault Ste. Marie. Porter is adding a third daily round-trip flight between The Sault and downtown Toronto. As of June 27, the third flight will be scheduled year-round from Sunday through Friday.
Operating out of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport on the Toronto Islands in the city’s downtown, Porter is Canada’s third-largest air carrier. Unlike many of the larger airlines, all passengers receive complimentary in-flight beer, wine and snacks.
