Upscale Italian fashion house Prada introduced its new capsule collection of alligator handbags, just in time for summer, reports Vogue. As of this month, the limited edition collection is only available at the label’s Avenue Montaigne store in Paris.
Each piece in the collection, in addition to being made from alligator, is uniquely numbered – just in case you confuse it with another. The new Prada collection is offered in shades of gray, green, black, and mink, and also includes a nappa leather detachable mini-purse.
This summer, the brand also launched playful Miu Miu bijoux – a chic and playful spring-summer jewelry collection, as well as the whimsical Minimal Baroque eyewear collection.
The chunky jewelry is displayed on a damask-covered bust that also serves as packaging for the designs. The new line is already available in Miu Miu boutiques worldwide and online at miumiu.com.
The capsule collection of baroque eyewear takes its inspiration from the 2011 spring-summer womenswear collection and is available worldwide this month in their shops and through selected opticians.
Rather than simply designing an advertisement, Prada asked three illustrators and photographers to interpret the eyewear through their art.
