Travel website TripAdvisor asks its 20 million travelling members to vote on various tourist and travel services like hotels and restaurants, and recently published its 2011 list of top 25 hotels in the world.
After crunching the data, the top prize was awarded to the Golden Well hotel in Prague. According to the millions of customers comments, the Golden Well is in a class by itself.
“Everything was impeccable: the cleanliness of the rooms, the location of the hotel, the wonderful views,” was just one of the comments that earned the Golden Well in first place.
Closer to home, one Canadian establishment managed to land in TripAdvisor’s top 25, Auberge Le Vincent in Quebec City was ranked in 22nd place. More than 95 percent of reviewers gave the hotel an “excellent” rating.
