A judge praised Chris Brown’s diligence yesterday (February 18) in completing the terms of his probation, Daily News reports. Brown is on probation following his February 2009 assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia M. Schnegg says that Brown has not missed one of his domestic violence counselling sessions and he has completed 32 days of community labour in Virginia.
The judge told him, "It looks like you’re doing really, really well. That’s always good to see."
Last year, the singer received five years of problem and six months of community service after pleading guilty to felony assault.
Brown received permission to serve his probation in his home state of Virigina, but he has to return to Los Angeles regularly to check in.
The 20-year old star also received permission to travel outside the United States for upcoming concerts in May and June.
Brown must appear before the judge again for another update on May 11.
