Drawing inspiration from world’s rainforests, lagoons and gardens, the pretty new summer dress line from Banana Republic includes more than 70 different styles – enough to satisfy every taste. Ranging from black-tie to casual pool-side knits, the colorful collection includes bloom-covered and ethnic prints, as well as vibrant solids in a wide array of hues.
Made from breathable natural fabrics like silk, linen and cotton, the dresses are light and airy for a hot summer day. Simple cuts are meant to "beckon to mind the quintessential patio cocktail party where summer was a dressed-up affair and conversations outnumbered dips in the pool," explains creative director Simon Kneen.
"The collection was designed with the greatest of intentions: to fulfill every woman’s fantasy of opening a closet and discovering one dreamy dress after another – each a vision destined to dress life’s every occasion," he added.
To help women realize that dream, the collection includes everything from wraps and patio dresses to a full-length printed goddess dress and billowy white tier dress.
The new Signature Summer Dress collection, priced between $85 to $370 — with most under a budget-friendly $160, is due in stores next month,
