Prince Andrew dodges parking ticket

Prince Andrew managed to dodge a parking ticket.

The 53-year-old royal had his Range Rover parked on a double yellow line in Mayfair, central London, while he was enjoying his evening at club LouLou’s last Friday (18.10.13), when a City of Westminster attendant spotted the vehicle.

According to the Mail Online the attendant issued a parking ticket but later offered to remove it as officers with royals are allowed to park on double yellow lines on security grounds, and Andrew’s personal protection officer insisted he had stayed with the car.

Also spotted leaving the club on Friday night were ‘Dynasty’ actress Joan Collins and husband Percy Gibson, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, and his wife Madeleine Gurdon.

The Duke of York’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and daughters, 25-year-old Princess Beatrice and 23-year-old Princess Eugenie, are also fans of the upmarket hot spot.

Sarah Ferguson joined her daughters for a night out at the club – which is owned by Robin Birley – in July where the younger York princess was accompanied by her bartender boyfriend, 27-year-old Jack Brooksbank.
