Prince Harry for charity dinner in Dubai

Prince Harry will attend a charity dinner in Dubai to raise funds for his charity Sentebale. The non-profit organization will use proceeds to build a children’s care center in the African country of Lesotho.

Britain’s Prince Harry will attend a charity dinner in Dubai next month.

The flame-haired royal will raise funds for his charity, Sentebale – which helps young, underprivileged children in Africa – by dining at the Forget Me Not charity dinner on October 7.

The proceeds raised from the philanthropic meal will go towards a new children’s care center, Sentebale’s Mamohato Children’s Centre of Excellence, in Lesotho, which is located next to South Africa.

The 28-year-old prince’s charity will team with the Al Jalila Foundation for the event.

Raja Al Gurg, a trustee of the Al Jalila Foundation, said: ”As a global healthcare foundation dedicated to transforming lives, we consider it a privilege to be able to support the children of Lesotho to lead healthy and productive lives. We are extremely proud to support Sentebale in its mission and look forward to a long term partnership.”

Sentebale CEO Cathy Ferrier added: ”We are delighted to be holding the Sentebale Forget Me Not Dinner in Dubai. It comes near the end of a busy year of fundraising, which will help us reach our goal of building the Mamohato Children’s Centre.

”We have generated support from all over the world and hope our guests in Dubai will feel that they too want to be a part of changing the lives of thousands of HIV-positive children across Lesotho.”
