A royal family source confirmed that Prince Harry and his girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, 23, decided to call it quits after being together for five years, reports People.
The couple’s split was a mutual decision made three weeks after their romantic trip to the Indian Ocean island, Mauritius.
The source stated, "They are remaining friends. There have been all sorts of reasons given [for the split] but suffice it to say they felt that it had run its course."
Harry and Davy met through two common friends in 2004 and maintained a long-distance relationship for three years.
