With the recent marriage of his older brother Prince William to Kate Middleton, Prince Harry has been thrust into the romance spotlight, but he made it clear that he has no plans to tie the knot anytime soon, reports the Daily Mail.
Yesterday (June 9), Prince Harry attended the Founder’s Day parade at London’s Royal Hospital – home to retired soldiers – and met with the veterans.
As the 26-year-old prince greeted a group of seniors in wheelchairs, one of them, William Titchmarsh, 85, asked the prince, “When are you getting married?”
The question seemed to catch the prince by surprise, but he laughed and responded, “Not for a long time,” and then added, “Who put you up to ask me that?”
Titchmarsh, member of the Gunners Regiment later joked, “They’ll shoot me in the morning!” while a fellow resident said, “Put him on a charge Sergeant Major.”
The third in line to the throne has been dating Zimbabwean born law student Chelsy Davy, 24, off and on for more than five years. She recently attended the royal wedding as Prince Harry’s date.
