Prince William owns 200 loom bands

Prince William has confessed to having a secret stash of 200 loom bands after becoming obsessed with the children’s bracelet craze.

Britain’s Prince William has a collection of 200 loom bands.

The 32-year-old royal has confessed to having a secret stash of the children’s bracelets – which are made by weaving together colourful rubber rings – which have become a craze across the United Kingdom.

The Duke of Cambridge’s wife, Duchess Catherine was first spotted wearing a pink and blue loom band earlier this month and he’s now confessed to joining her, David Beckham and the Duchess of Cornwall by investing in the fad.

During the Prince’s visit to Coventry yesterday (07.16.14) – where he launched a World War One parks scheme on behalf of the Fields in Trust charity – he was seen sporting a turquoise and black loom band.

William was gifted the bracelet while chatting to young schoolchildren at the event and as he placed it on his wrist he revealed he already had a collection of 200 at home, the Western Daily Press reports.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge – with whom William has 12-month-old son Prince George – has been attending a two-week cookery course at Leiths School of Food and Wine in west London.
