Britain’s Prince William has joked about suffering ”sleepless nights” when his baby arrives.

The prince and his wife Duchess Catherine are due to welcome their first child into the world in July, and William was given a lot of advice from mothers he met at the Help for Heroes Tedworth House recovery center yesterday (05.20.13).

He joked: ”All the mothers have been looking at me, ‘Just you wait, just you wait. Long sleepless nights’.”

William – who opened the facility in Wiltshire, South West England with brother Prince Harry yesterday – was given a babygro with ‘My daddy’s a hero’ emblazoned on the front and a Help for Heroes teddy bear for his impending new arrival and admitted he excited about being a dad.

Asked by Corporal Josh Boggi if he is ”looking forward” to parenthood, he replied: ”Very much so.”

However, the prince declined the opportunity to get some hands-on child care practice when the soldier offered him the chance to hold his two-year-old son Jenson.

William said: ”No, no, you’re very kind.”

During their visit, the princes – who are both active members of the armed forces – met several injured and sick service personnel at the centre, which can house 50 residents, four families and more than 150 day visitors.
