Britain’s Prince William wants to bring about conservation changes to leave a ”solid legacy” for Prince George.

TV presenter Julia Bradbury is hoping the royal, who recently announced plans to forma a global environmental foundation, will be successful in his bid to achieve more for wildlife preservation and she is delighted he is making a stand in an attempt to benefit future generations.

She said: ”I can understand why, as a new father, he would want to focus on leaving a solid legacy for his son.

”I’m the mother of a two-year-old son, Zeph, so I know how he feels. But what William hopes to achieve is on a worldwide scale.

”He talked about saving endangered species, not just for his George but for all the other little Georges out there.

”What he is doing is not just about his children, it’s about future generations.”

While Julia is pleased to see William try to do something to improve the world, she admits it will be one of his ”greatest challenges to date”.

She added to HELLO! magazine: ”Prince William has taken on a huge responsibility – and his greatest challenge to date – to bring about the changes needed for wildlife to survive.

”Bringing together seven powerful conversation groups with him at the helm, he should be able to achieve more for wildlife preservation than ever before.”
