Pussycat Dolls Singer To Go Solo

Nicole Scherzinger, a singer in the girl group the Pussycat Dolls, is planning a solo disc for 2007.

The singer recently told MTV that she can continue to be a part of the Pussycat Dolls in addition to her solo work.  "I’m excited because it’s really fresh, something new," she said. "I like to sing a lot of styles and kinds of music, so it’s kind of an infusion of all kinds of things."

The pretty brunette, who has yet to decide what name she will use for her CD, insists that her solo work does not mean the end of the Pussycat Dolls.

The six women in the band will soon be touring North America with Christina Aguilera.  Scherzinger also added that she would like to work as an actress.  She has had a few television spots since joining the band.
