Queen Latifah has filed a lawsuit against the production company behind The Perfect Holiday, alleging that she has not been compensated for her appearance in the film, reports Starpulse.com.
The rapper-turned-actress filed the suit in Manhattan, New York, saying that the heads of Perfect Christmas Productions have not abided by terms of the contract and that the company owes her $275 000 US for her secondary role in the comedy.
The actress co-produced the film in 2007, which starred Terrence Howard and Gabrielle Union.
