Quiet Riot Loses Their Singer

The singer from the rock group Quiet Riot, Kevin DuBrow, was found dead in his residence in Las Vegas.

DuBrow, 52, died Sunday and the cause of the death is still unknown.

The percussionist from the group, Frank Banali stated on his website, "I can’t even find words to say. Please respect my privacy as I mourn the passing and honor the memory of my dearest friends Kevin DuBrow."

The singer’s death was also confirmed by the record company, Chavis Records, and the bass player, Kelly Garni.

Garni wrote on his website, "I ask that no one here offer any speculation or opinions, theories or other things that could be construed as negative or, and I’m sorry for this, even sympathetic, right at this immediate time. I will explain to everyone here the facts and the truth in the next 24 to 48 hours as I realize this will affect us all."

The biggest hit by Quiet Riot was Cum On Feel the Noize, which was released in 1983. It was redone by Ban Van 3000. Their last album, Rehab, was launched in 2006.
