CosmeticNews reports that the French company, Inter Parfums, will introduce a new fragrance for the surfwear company, Quiksilver, this summer.
Quiksilver’s men’s fragrance was created by Antoine Lie and Antoine Maisondieu. The two Givaudan employees were hoping to attract a large part of Quiksilver customers, which tend to be between ages 15 and 35. The company will have a higher distribution than that of the women’s brand, Roxy, which launched two perfumes last year.
Quiksilver’s fragrance will be available in Quiksilver boutiques in France starting in July, and will reach the global market in August, with the exception of Australia, where the product launch is set for 2009.
French surfing champion, Jeremy Flores, will be featured in the next ad campaign.
Quiksilver’s second fragrance should be launched within the next 2 years.
