McAdams will work with screenplay writer Jeremy Leven, who also wrote the screenplay for The Notebook. Stephen Frears (Dirty Pretty Things), and German director Robert Schwenke (Flightplan) will be the choice talents for New Line Studios to work on this project.
The novel describes the relationship of a man and a woman. The man possesses a capability of going back and forth in time, therefore, permitting him to view many stages of his life.
