Radiohead discuss possible tour

U.K. rockers consider hitting the road after success of secret set at Glastonbury.

Soon after the release of their new album The King of Limbs, U.K. rockers Radiohead are contemplating going on tour.

With last month’s planned-but-unannounced surprise set at London’s Glastonbury Festival drawing thousands to their stage, drummer Philip Selway said the band feels as though they’ve been offered "a new lease of life."

The excitement generated as the group played tracks from their new album to astonished fans reinvigorated their love of performing and stimulated the urge to organize a proper tour.

In an interview with BBC 6 Music, Selway confirmed: "[A tour] is what we are talking about at the moment. It felt exciting doing [Glastonbury] and it felt like we had something else to offer musically… we would like to see where that takes us."

Fans of the band know all too well that touring is not often done by the band – they have not been on the road since 2008, when they embarked on only a limited four-date jaunt.
