The eyewear brand has introduced a new chic, retro pair of shades called the Ultra Wayfarer, reports Vogue.fr.
For the new model, the brand is offering an acetate frame decked out in 18-carat white gold. One of the two inlaid gold settings will have the Ray-Ban logo engraved into it.
The limited edition series was created with polarized lenses that have a 24K gold mirror finish.
Ray-Ban will distribute only 7 000 pairs of the Ultra Wayfarer shades worldwide.
In 2009, singer and actress Zooey Deschanel teamed with Oliver Peoples to create a frame directly inspired by the famous Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses.
