Ray Charles Robinson, 45, also known as Ray Charles Jr., was arrested at the Hotel Dunes Wilshire, after the police received a tip on his whereabouts. He was arrested for possession, and for being under the influence of cocaine. Authorities have not revealed other details about the incident.
Robinson is one of twelve children of the famous R&B singer, that was addicted for twenty years to heroine. Ray Charles Sr., passed away last June of liver cancer.
His life is depicted in the film Ray, which is up for a few Oscars this year.
