Actor Ray Winstone (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) is replacing Robert De Niro for the role of agent Darius Jedburgh in the movie Edge of Darkness.
Filming came to a halt one week after De Niro left the set, only two days after he had begun, following a conflict with director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale).
Producers finally found someone to take over the role for the film that’s being shot in Massachusetts.
Winstone will play opposite Mel Gibson and Danny Huston.
Ray Winstone will star in several films this year, including 44 Inch Chest and The Cup.
