Busy pop star Rihanna debuts her new album Talk That Talk today (November 21), and is preparing to launch her second fragrance next month Rebelle, reports Coco Perez. Rebelle is “built off the sexy back of Reb’l Fleur,” which was the singer’s debut fragrance, released in February this year.
The early December launch at Macy’s in New York City will feature a special holiday package for the Rihanna fan in your life. A boxed set will include her new CD Talk That Talk featuring the hit single We Found Love, 100 ml of the new scent Rebelle, plus 100 ml of her debut fragrance Reb’l Fleur, all for $118.
Developed by the same perfumers of Reb’l Fleur, Caroline Sabas and Marypierre Julien, the fruity-floral scent has top notes of plum, strawberry and ginger, with a heart of heliotrope, vanilla orchid and cocoa absolute, and trailing base notes of musk, coffee, patchouli and amber.
Rebelle be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml eau de parfum, and 200 ml perfumed body lotion, with prices starting at $49. According to the Umbrella singer’s special Rebelle Facebook page, a men’s fragrance will be next on the list for the sultry singer.
Back in February at the launch of her debut fragrance Reb’l Fleur, the star explained the name was inspired by her grandmother in Barbados, who nicknamed Rihanna her "rebel flower.” The singer also sports a scripted tattoo that reads “rebelle fleur.”
