Red Hot Chili Peppers unveil track list

I’m With You due out August 30.

American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers has unveiled the tracklist for their new album, I’m With You, due out August 30, reports Consequence of Sound.

The album will include 14 new songs including the debut single, The Adventures of Raindance Maggie, which is scheduled to drop on July 18.

Since their last album – 2006’s Stadium Arcadium – the band has undergone some significant changes. Most notably, guitarist Josh Klinghoffer has joined the band, bringing a new element to the group.

"Josh has never really had a band he was part of… he came in with sort of a lifetime of music… a real reservoir of chords and ideas… and now he has a place for it," frontman Anthony Kiedis told KROQ.

Klinghoffer has stepped in to replace John Frusciante, who is busy pursuing a solo career after recording the last five studio albums with RHCP.

In the five years since Stadium Arcadium, bassist Flea has been studying musical theory at the University of Southern California, which has also influenced some of the songwriting on the new album.
