Redmond O’Neal Granted Special Permission

Actress Farrah Fawcett’s son, Redmond O’Neal, could be released from prison to attend his mother’s funeral.

O’Neal’s attorney revealed to People that his client was granted temporary permission to leave prison in order to attend Fawcett’s funeral.

For one day, the 24-year-old would be allowed to leave the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, California, where he has been serving a sentence for violating probation resulting from a drug case.

The ceremony will take place in utmost privacy, far from the public and media, at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Los Angeles at 4:00 today.

Fawcett, who was famous for her role in Charlie’s Angels, died of cancer last Thursday (June 25).
