Witherspoon and Gyllenhaal celebrated the French holiday and watched the fireworks at the end of the day.
According to People, the couple had lunch at L’Avenue Restaurant on rue Montaigne. Then Witherspoon had a meeting at Vogue, while Gyllenhaal did some shopping at the trendy Marais boutiques.
Later, the couple met for tea at Mariage Frères before attending the traditional fireworks show with Witherspoon’s 8-year-old daughter Ava. Gyllenhaal put Ava on his shoulders during the show to give the young girl a better view.
