IMDB.com reports that Witherspoon and Ford will share the screen in the upcoming film, Morning Glory, from Roger Michell (Notting Hill).
Witherspoon will play a television news producer whose career is plummeting. She decides to hire a veteran news anchor (played by Ford), who is selfish and hateful, but good for ratings.
The film will be produced by J.J. Abrams, the creator of the television series Lost, and the director of the film Mission: Impossible III.
Witherspoon’s latest film is Four Christmases, in which she stars with Vince Vaughn.
