According to IOL, Witherspoon, 30, has spoken for the first time regarding her divorce from actor Ryan Phillippe, 32.
The Legally Blonde star cited "irreconciliable differences" as the reason for the split in official documents. During an evening at the Kennedy Center Honors, the star said, "I’m getting out a little more now. You’ll be seeing a lot more of me."
Each week, the two former spouses speak several times on the phone to talk about their children, Ava, 7, and Deacon, 3.
A source added, "She’s being civil to him, but she’s built walls."
At the moment, Witherspoon is not thinking about dating a new man.
