According to Variety, the independent film Kabluey will be distributed by the company Regent Releasing.
The film features Lisa Kudrow, Scott Prendergast, Teri Garr, Christine Taylor, Conchata Ferrell, Chris Parnell and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Prendergast also wrote the screenplay and directed the film.
Kabluey tells the story about a man who is forced to accept the humiliating job as a corporate mascot, in order to earn money and help his sister-in-law take care of her troublesome toddlers, while his brother is fighting in Iraq.
Regent Releasing expects the film to be released this summer. Shooting for Kabluey, which won a prize at the Austin Film Festival, took place in Austin, Texas. The film was also awarded a prize at the Oxford Film Fest in Mississippi.
