New Line Cinema Studios announced that the movie will be in theatres on May 30, 2008.
The movie tells the story of the four females from the television show, four years after the show ended.
The movie was written and directed by Michael Patrick King. It is starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth, Jennifer Hudson and Lynn Cohen.
Filming begins in New York on September 19.
