The Bridget Jones star says that she is not romantically involved with wealthy businessman André Balazs, who was previously dating Uma Thurman.
The rumours began circulating after Zellweger was spotted with Balazs in a Manhattan restaurant.
A spokesperson for the 39-year-old actress told People, "Renée is single and not dating anyone."
The star was briefly married to country singer, Kenny Chesney, from May until December 2005.
