Report: Ezekiel Elliott angry over lack of interest!

The Dallas Cowboys decided to part ways with 2016 1st round draft pick Ezekiel Elliott earlier this month after the popular running back posted career low numbers in 2022 of only 876 yards and 12 total touchdowns. While the move was met with varying reactions from the Cowboys fan base, quarterback Dak Prescott and owner/general manager Jerry Jones didn’t make any secret that it was a difficult decision.

Elliott himself then reportedly came up with a “wish list” of three potential teams that he’d like to play for that included both the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles, though both teams didn’t reciprocate the interest. On Elliott’s list was also the New York Jets, though they sent a subtle message that they were happy with their running back unit as it currently stands.

And we can’t blame Elliott for being a bit frustrated right now with the lack of interest that he’s receiving from other NFL teams.

It’s hard to envision someone not taking a waiver on the former 1st round draft pick. However, it sounds as though Elliott may have to wait until closer to training camp when injuries begin to pile up. Where do you realistically envision him signing for the 2023 NFL season, and for what kind of financial compensation?
