Actor Richard Dreyfuss will be making a cameo appearance in the horror film Piranha 3D for Dimension Films Studios.
The film is a remake of a flick from the late 1970s. The story takes place in Lake Havasee, Arizona, where a tremor causes prehistoric piranhas to emerge from a lake and wreak all sorts of havoc.
Ving Rhames has also joined cast, along with Elizabeth Shue and Adam Scott.
Filming will begin next month in Arizona, and the film is expected to open on March 19, 2010.
