Richard Gere is having discussions now to play Irving, and Alfred Molina is negociating for the role of Richard Suskin, Irving’s partner in this media fraud.
Written by William Wheeler, the film is being produced by Mark Gordon, who has already worked for 5 years on the project.
The film is based on the writings of Irving after his trial. He was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in 1972.
