According to People, Sambora was arrested on Tuesday (March 25) for driving under the influence in Laguna Beach, California, with his daughter in the car.
The Bon Jovi guitarist was in his Hummer with his girlfriend, his daughter Ava, and another unidentified girl, when the police saw his car driving erratically.
Laguna Beach Police Sgt. Jason Kravetz reported, "He smelled of alcohol. And he was quiet and cooperative and he didn’t cause any problems."
Sambora will appear in court on May 7. Sambora’s close friends can hardly believe this story. They underlined how much Sambora cares for his daughter who was in the vehicle. One of Sambora’s friends stated that it was, "almost too much to believe. He adores her and is very protective of her."
