Martin’s rep announced that the 36-year-old singer became the father of twins a few weeks ago, thanks to a surrogate mother, reported UsMagazine.com.
There was a press release that read, "The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky’s full-time care. Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children."
There were no other details given.
For the last year, Martin has refused to either confirm or deny rumours that he is gay.
