Scott (Gladiator) will be directing and producing the movie The Kind One. Casey Affleck will be starring in this film based on the novel by Tom Epperson.
Scott and Affleck have previously worked together in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, which was produced by Scott.
The Kind One is a noir drama set in the 1930s in Los Angeles. A man with amnesia starts working for a killer named "The Kind One." The amnesiac falls in love with the killer’s girlfriend.
Warner Bros. would like this movie to be in theatres in 2010.
In the meantime, Scott has many other ongoing projects including Body of Lies, which will be out on October 10, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.
