The concert promoter, Vibe Event Management, who has been busy promoting the upcoming show in Dubaï, has confirmed that the concert has been cancelled.
The president of Vibe Event Management, M. Yassin Matbouly, announced, “We want to share with you that Rihanna and her management will not be accepting to hold a public concert at this time as it is not appropriate timing for her.”
This would have been the 21-year-old singer’s first public appearance since her last-minute cancellation at the Grammy Awards due to an altercation with her boyfriend, Chris Brown.
