There’s some buzz in the fashion world that D&G bosses Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana want to call on singer Rihanna to be the face of a new Spring 2011 ad campaign.
A source revealed: "RiRi has been rocking their leopard print mini skirts and tops, and they are loving it. Bosses are eyeing her up for lucrative campaigns as she’s got that rocky edge to her."
If she gets the gig to become the new face of D&G, Rihanna would follow in the Queen of Pop’s footsteps.
This week, the luxury fashion house unveiled its new photo and video ad campaign to promote its MDG sunglasses collection completely designed by Madonna. Madonna posed for this ad campaign and also appears in the brand’s new Fall 2010 campaign.
Dolce & Gabbana have worked with Rihanna before. They previously designed some custom-made stage costumes for her concert tours.
