On Tuesday (October 5), several British music industry execs received a surprise invitation to join Rihanna, 22, in the London pub Sketch for sneak preview of five tracks off her new album, Loud, which drops on November 16, according to nme.com.
The Barbadian R&B artist told those present: “You have to listen to it loud, that’s how it sounds best… It just makes me feel excited. I wanna dance to every song and I know that’s what people like – something that makes them dance.
“I hate when I buy an album and you’ve only got, like. four songs and you have to skip… Sometimes I’m in the shower and I don’t wanna have to get out and go from, like, number two to number eight, you know? I wanted to make an album that you could just press play.”
She played two songs that have already made their way onto the Web, What’s My Name? and Only Girl In The World, in addition to a sneak preview of S & M, Drink To That (Cheers) and California King Bed.
The pop singer confirmed the album also contains collaborations with Drake and Nicki Minaj.
