Singer Rihanna officially confirmed she is dating Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player Matt Kemp, People reports.
After seven months of speculation about the nature of her relationship with Kemp, Rihanna spilled the beans during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest. She told the radio host, "Umm, he’s my boyfriend."
Rihanna adds that people should not hold their breath waiting for a wedding announcement. The 22-year old singer says, "It’s new, and it’s fun, and it’s nothing too serious, you know. I don’t want anything that’s going to take up so much of my energy and time right now in a bad way. I just want to have fun, and that’s what it’s about."
Rihanna is currently getting ready to spend summer on the road on her Last Girl on Earth North American tour. Accompanying her on the tour are a Lil Wayne’s protégée, rapper Nicki Minaj, and new singing sensation Ke$ha.
