Shortly after launching her first fragrance, Reb’l Fleur, pop singer Rihanna announced that she is already working on her second fragrance, reports Coco Perez.
The Umbrella hitmaker made ??the announcement Tuesday (May 3) on her Twitter page, saying the second fragrance will be an extension of her debut perfume Reb’l Fleur. She added that she wore a sample of the new perfume out and it was a hit with her friends.
"I’m already started on fragrance #2 an extension of #RebLFleur Wore the sample last night and all the fly girls wanted some #Yummy," the Umbrella hitmaker Tweeted.
No launch date has been announced, but it’s likely the new fragrance will appear before year end, just in time for the busy gift-giving season.
Back in February, the singer launched Reb’l Fleur, saying the name of the fragrance was inspired by her grandmother in Barbados, who nicknamed Rihanna her "rebel flower.” The singer also sports a scripted tattoo that reads “rebelle fleur.”
Rihanna described the fragrance as: “Something delicious and special, a fragrance with subtle hints that linger and leave a sexy memory.”
The 23-year-old Barbadian pop star’s fragrance is described as bold and intense, with sophisticated floral notes of tuberose, violet and hibiscus, with a hint of coconut.
