Rihanna recording with Wale

Rihanna has been working with rapper Wale, though it is unclear whether their collaboration will feature on her next album or his upcoming fourth record ‘The Album About Nothing’.

Rihanna has been working with Wale.

The ‘Diamonds’ hitmaker may currently be in the middle of a world tour but she still found the time to join the rapper in a recording studio to create a new track.

Alongside a picture of the pair she posted on Instagram, Rihanna wrote: "Work hard play hard! @Walemmg and I cooking up a lil treat!!! #studiolife. (sic)"

It is unclear whether the collaboration is destined to appear on the ‘S&M’ hitmaker’s next album, or if it will feature on Wale’s upcoming fourth record ‘The Album About Nothing’.

As well as being busy touring and recording new tracks, it was recently claimed Rihanna, 25, is in talks to star in a forthcoming Josephine Baker biopic, based on the American-born French dancer’s autobiography ‘Josephine’.

Producer W. Lance Reynolds said in a statement: "Rihanna is one of the most talented performers of this millennium and with her unique acting and performing abilities I have no doubt she will bring Josephine back to life on the big screen."

The cabaret star was the first African-American female to feature in a major movie, starring in 1934’s ‘Zouzou’, and was given the Croix de guerre, a prestigious French military honour, for her efforts in aiding the French Resistance during World War II.

The revue performer – who married four times and had 12 adopted children – has previously been portrayed on screen by Sonia Rolland in Woody Allen’s 2011 comedy ‘Midnight in Paris’ and Karine Plantadit in Salma Hayek’s Oscar-nominated ‘Frida’.
