According to Starpulse, the provocative photos of Rihanna that appeared in GQ magazine were a concern for Antonio "L.A." Reid. Reid is the boss of Island Def Jam Records, Rihanna’s label.
In the shoot, the Umbrella singer posed topless, with only her arms covering her breasts, for the January 2010 edition of the popular men’s magazine.
The young star admitted that some of the shots were a problem for Reid, who at one point, intervened. Rihanna, 21, revealed, "It’s very sexy. At one point L.A. Reid came into the shoot and he was like, ‘Rihanna, put some f–king clothes on.’"
Rihanna released her latest album, Rated R, last November. In it, she reveals a darker side of herself with songs such as Wait Your Turn, Stupid In Love, Fire Bomb and Rude Boy.
Almost a year ago, Rihanna was assaulted by her then-boyfriend, Chris Brown, while they were on their way to the Grammy Awards. The singer stayed under the radar for several months, but is now back in the headlines, and moving forward with her career.
