Rihanna has come to the support of British singer Cheryl Cole who was recently axed by the U.S. version of the X Factor talent show and also let go from the U.K. version at the same time, reports MTV.
The red-haired Barbadian pop star, who was visiting Montreal this weekend for two concerts, and spotted at the Canadian Grand Prix yesterday (June 12), confirmed that she still had plans to record a duet with Cole.
“Rihanna called Cheryl and told her she’s going to call on all her contacts and they should do their planned duet sooner rather than later,” a source told Look magazine.
“What’s more, she reckons Cheryl should face the music and come to stay with her in L.A. – she’s determined to give her the amazing American experience she should have had all along.”
Rihanna is reportedly clearing some time in her schedule to meet up with Cole in an L.A. recording studio.
