Rihanna’s Rude Boy stays at the top

Rihanna’s single Rude Boy dominates the charts for a third straight week.

Singer Rihanna has a lot of reasons to smile as she heads into this Easter long weekend. Her song Rude Boy is sitting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart in the U.S. for a third week in a row.

The Rude Boy video is definitely a major part of the song’s success. Filmed in the same style often found in M.I.A. videos, Rihanna’s video features lots of sexy moves and hairstyles that would make La Roux jealous.

After Russian Roulette and Hard, Rude Boy is the third single from Rihanna’s most recent release, Rated R.

Rude Boy is in first place in front of Nothin’ On You by B.o.B. That song features Bruno Mars and sits at number two for a second straight week. Hey, Soul Sister by Train rounds off the top three going into this long weekend.

Lady Gaga and Beyoncé’s Telephone dropped two spots from No. 3 to 5. Canada’s rising hip hop star Drake saw his song, Over, drop five spots to No. 22.
